Lexi walked into the party, feeling awkward as she looked around. No one she knew seemed to be there, other than Maggie, who was talking to Alex. Frowning and not wanting to interrupt, she took another step inward, though kept near the entrance, looking slightly uncomfortable as she watched people come and go.

Zack looked back at Elliot, forgetting she had been there. "Oh, right over there." He pointed to a Cooler by the fire.

Alex turned around and looked at at Maggie, "I would say you did." he replied with a smile and recognizing her. He gesture the space beside him and said, 'Would you care to join me on this rather lumpy, yet homey log?" He asked grinning.

Maggie laughed. "I'm a Herbology major." She said in an explanatory voice, as she sat. "When you go on as many feilds trips as us to the middle of nowhere, these logs become like couches to us." She said patting the log, and smiled. "So were you somehow involved in the incident or are you just an innocent bystander?"

Zack shrugged and spotted the girl who had handed him his books after he had been kicked out f class a few days ago. He brushed some sand off of himself and stumbled over to her. "Well ello love, dont believe I caught your name after you retrieved my books." He smiled.

Elliot stood alone feeling slighty uncomfortable, she turned and sat on a log facing the fire and sat there letting the flames heat her face.

Lexi smiled at the boy, who was obviously drunk out of his mind, but still seemed sane enough to talk to. For now. "Yeah, turning up to class drunk is probably not the best idea here. My name's Lexi though. Yours?"

Brandon slowly wandered near the party. He was smart to stay away from maggie and lexi- he didn't feel like fighting. He stood near some trees and watched the people in front of him

Alex smiled," I was an innocent bystander." he shrugged, "It was my good deed for the day. Herbology major huh? I have to know a bit about plants for my major...I cut them up and stick them in potions" he said grinning.

He laughed. "Zack. And I'm not always drunk." He thought of how stupid that came out, seeing as how he was drunk now. "Well..." He went on to explain. " rough month." He decided to go for the shortest yet honest route.

Lexi smiled in what she hoped was an understanding way, and nodded. "Yeah, I know what you mean. Life sucks sometimes, doesn't it?" It was more of a comment than a question, and soon after, she looked around again. "Mind showing me to the drinks?"

"Ahh, potions." Maggie said smiling. "Yeah, you might see me sometime. Carrying boxes of herbs to the potions professor. I've delivered ingrediants a few times, and I still don't think your professor remembers my name." She added with a little laugh.
"And sorry, but I'm not sure I remember your name. I think I know what it is, but I would rather ask you, then be wrong." She smiled innocently.
