Madeline let her robe fall to the floor as she slid her shorts down to onto the sand. The cold wind was beginning to blow on her tan body, a chill of little goosebumps flowing from her fingers to her toes. The short green robe, coming down only to her lower thigh, stuck to her body like a second layer of skin, womanly curvature show in great detail. Hair now blowing in every direction, it fell to her hips, spread out underneath her like great brunette wings.
She had shut her eyes for only a second before she heard his voice. Eyes opened quickly and she sat up fast, he spoke ever so quietly as she listened closley on to his every word.
Her bikin was well revealed now as she started to spray on some of her sun tan lotion. Of course she could afford a harmless tan , just not at the moment.

His eyes were peeled away from her after awhile because it would be too much for him to look at all once. Honestly thinking in his head that there was nothing he'd give to miss the vision which would inspire him to draw something wondrous, he was thankful he had dressed for water that morning even though it was only a daily jog and took off his shoes without bothering to untie the laces completely.
He watched her momentarily, with amusement while she sprayed sun tan lotion on her bronzed skin and walked over to the border where the salt water met the last dry grain of sand. Complimenting would be overwhelming and he remained quite and solemn with his words as she must have understood he thought she was beautiful even when he wasn't really allowed to think so by some respects.

As she walked over to the water edge , she could feel Tylers presence looking at her. She had shut her eyes for only a second before she heard his voice. Eyes opened quickly and she sat up fast, the one sleeve on her robe falling, creating one of the closest calls ever to nakedness. Even Madeline had to blush, turning about quickly, and adjusting her bathing suit.
She walked in slowly , the waters waves were crashings against her ankles and it felt great. "Are you coming Tyler?" , she asked him.

Averting his eyes once again, he didn't feel a burn to his face like she did as she turned away to adjust her bathing suit. Politely avoiding the subject of the near accident, he stepped into the cool waters too, amazing himself by the difference in temperature from the land and sea.
"I just realised how long ago it was since i swam. I won't ask if you like swimming though since i'm guessing you do or you wouldn't be here." As he spoke to her, he was stepping deeper into the ocean, losing the feeling of sharp shapes under his feet as the sand was softer. "Is there anything else you like to do?"

"I love swimming , and of course than there is surfing." , she said.
Madeline dived into the water head first , she could taste the salt in her mouth as she ventured through the sea water. The waters body now one with hers , she brought her body back to surface. It was a great feeling , filled with both excitment and fury.

The spray of her dive drenched him and he wasn't fast enough to shield himself from getting wet while she glided through the clear water and resurfaced metres ahead of him. "Only those two things?" Wading out until he could no longer feel the sand beneath his feet, he sank into the water and sliced through from below as much like a blade as possible so that when he came up for air, he was past where she was and watching the horizon.

'No , of course not just those two things." , she remarked.
There was no way she could tell him everything she liked doing , besides it would only take more time than she planned to use on the particular subject. She dismissed the question , but before she was completley done with it she looked back at him. "To tell you the truth , I am more adventourous than it might seem to you right now." , she said.
To most people , particualry guys , she was the shy beauty whom never spoke a words unless of course she felt comfortable by the person. It was easy to be comfortable in these situations for some odd reason.
Madeline watched as Tyler got knocked by a passing wave , she watched as the waves connected with each other. It was like a family , each carrying its jewels to shore , while others bring them further back into the ocean.

"Right now but what else is there to do here? I can think of nothing adventurous for some reason. It's like a mental blockage or something." Squinting into the distance and vast open space, he turned to look at her from where he floated and bounced along with the rhythmn of the waves. Thinking she was avoiding the question, he let it pass and dismissed it too even when he was actually too curious for his own good and knew perfectly good rambles to come out about things he liked doing.
Whatever she liked might have been suggestions to him to try something new or as an alternative and he was constantly searching for activities. Too much for a normal life.
"You don't talk much do you? And i'm sorry for being so frank about it. I'm just thinking i can open up to you. It's odd...and i keep talking for no particular reason." His voice was carried with the wind and he knew it had to be loud enough for her to here and tried not to make himself sound careless.

"I tend to hear that quite a bit." , she said to Tyler. "I'm just a quiet person , but I guess when I get use to your company I could open up to you as well." , she said.
Madelines eyes glanced back at the open ocean and back at Tyler. He seemed to have put all his energy in laying back and letting the water carry him whever it seemed to long. She sighed as she wet part of her hair with the salty water. Madeline jumped off a nearest rock , she needed to wake herself up. She was under the water. Warmer than she expected, and a feeling so comfortable that she couldn't help but treasure it. Shells floated around her, like her coppery hair splayed out in the water.
With a gasp, she emerged, rubbing water out of her eyes. That was all she needed. Making her way to the edge, the bitter cold now biting at her from every angle, she lifted herself out of the water, lying on the ground, her feet still underneath the lukewarm beach. The moonlight hit her, lighting her upslightly.

"Well...maybe with time you will. I'm not sure if you could think of getting used to me actually. I am unpredictably strange, sometimes."
Partly joking, he stayed where the waves had carried him and rested while she lay on the beach and looked up at the stars. Light that he never took notice of until now reflected, and almost mirrored on the sea when the waves went still. He wasn't going to follow her every move, but came closer to shore so he could stand, scooping the salty water in a hand and letting every drop flow through his fingers, emotionlessly.
"But i'd be flattered if you opened up to me." Smiling with a childlike aura, he looked from her to the rock she had previously jumped off of with a fancy to do the same for relief of stress. It would be like some sweet escape that no one would understand.
"....one more thing, are you going to play volleyball on whatever day that tournament is arranged?"

"You would you be really?" , she said a bit dumbfounded.
Madeline rose up from the water , droplets of the ocean were sliding down her stomach as they made ripples. They danced around as she squeezed the water out of her hair. It was like the oceans tears coming off her from disturbing its presence. She laid down against hard ground. Her eyes scanned the nights sky as she looked at the stars.
The moon reflected off of the shining ocean that night in almost total perfection. It's crevases and bumps coud be seen easily on the surface, and it's blueish color was enhanced by the dark waters below. The still water seemed to be almost dead, and its animals within were fast asleep, the night's curse of drowsiness coming upon them. Alas, the night didn't affect everyone.
Her head turned as she heard Tylers question , "Of course , why do you ask , just out of curiousity?" , she said.

"yea, really really..." He didn't know what reaction she was having but from her voice it was enough to tell she was struck with what he had said and it puzzled her in one way or another.
"I'm confusing too, and complicated. Not everybody understands me so i've stopped searching for understanding and do things spontaneously if i see it fits with the situation." Almost sighing, he hung his head as if he was weary and attempted to stare into the depths of the sea; waters which were already too dark and murky. Letting his hand fall back down at his side, he sank down so it seemed that he was sitting on an invisible chair and refused to acknowledge the allure of the stars above.
He did secretly agree that it was a bedazzling night turned day, though and suddenly had the insane idea of wanting to see the world through her eyes even for that moment.
"Yes, out of curiousity and for knowledge. I heard someone talking about it somewhere else another day but meeting you and Piper confirmed the tournament's existence. Know anyone else joining it?"

There were times she felt like she was making him feel more and more uncomfortable by the minute. He avoided her gaze half the time and when he spoke it seemed like he was both anxious and hesitant to let himself speak. Brights eyes shone from underneath Madeline's hair , but she decided to take her sight off the boy for a few minutes. It was not the best of feelings to have someone talking to you , but answering you in a hesitant manner. As she turned her head the other way , she felt like she was being rude. His gazed remained down , not even back at her.
"Maybe he's not a big fan of eye contact." , she guessed. Just when she thought the conversation was soon to reach its end , Tyler spoke. "Know anyone else joining it?"
A random smile appeared on Madeline's face , she knew after this question the chance of the conversation going silent was slim.
"Well besides Piper and I , Sharie , Maggie and Lexi were planning on as well." , she replied.
"But , we're still in need of some guys to play , are you interested?" , she asked.

"They're all playing!?" Disbelieving, he snapped his back around to look at her. Practically staring with his teal coloured eyes, wide open and inquiring. "okay, i don't mind. I just thought i'd be around to watch but if you guys need a hand to make it happen, i'll help."
He wasn't exactly fond of volleyball and neither was he able to channel the energy to be enthusiastic or excited with her, having a few major things pressuring him to his wits end. Working his mind for endless hours. Realising he was staring at her randomly, he glanced away again as if cast off in a lost world, making his way to the shore this time and stopping when he reached the foams, to sit.
"I just had an outburst didn't i?" Asking himself, he rolled his eyes and eventually closed them.
"I'm sorry if i can't look at you all the time. It's rather rude of me, but i don't know which is better? And stop me if i'm reading your mind and it makes you uncomfortable." Cutting short on many of the things he wanted to say, he furrowed his eyebrows and looked as though he was in deep though once again. "Maybe there'll be more guys interested in playing too. I think an all day girl watching option is much preferred by alot of them too."

It was a fine, night , a perfect day to be laying around outside doing absolutely nothing. Although it was warm out, there was a slight breeze, and strands of her long r brunette hair blew behind her lightly as she walked. Madeline decided on putting back on her blue shorts, and a thin cotton white shirt.
"Don't worry about it , I was just curious thats all." , she said. A small smiled appeared on her face , just a hint of reassurance. "For a second I thought there was something wrong with my face." , she said
She thought for a momment how she'd love to see one of her friends and actually sit down and talk properly. Tyler was nice to talk to , but for some reason it was harder since she did not know him for a while.
"The guys , why of course , girls in their bathing suits playing volley ball , couldn;t get any better for a guy could it?" , she said.
