Piper climbed up from the rocky beach. She went into the castle. She went straight to the Mult-Purpose Room. She went inside. She summoned her Demonology Books. She needed to study and Demons was her major. She looked down and started to read when...

Lexi wandered into the room, pinning up posters for the volleyball game her and Madeline were planning. She paused, in the middle of hanging up a flyer, when she heard the rustling of pages, and turned to see a girl. She looked slightly familiar, likely an Everard, and she smiled in greeting. "Hey there." she said brightly, before turning to finish pinning the poster to the wall.

"HI." she said smiling. She looked up at the poster she was posting "Hey I am playing, Maddy told me about it. So I am guessing you are Lexi?" she asked

"The one and only." Lexi said, smiling back at the girl as the last of the posters was hung up. She slipped her hands into her pockets and tilted her head slightly, as if trying to match her face with a name. "You look familiar..." She glaced at the badge on her robes; just as she had guessed, the girl was an Everard. "Did you try out for the Quidditch team?"

"Piper. Nice to meet you." She said, storing the name in her mental list of people. She'd likely always remember now. "I thought you looked familiar, I was the one holding the try outs. Captain and chaser." Lexi smiled, a proud glint in her eyes.

So they had gotten to this topic again. For some reason, Lexi felt sure that her major probably wouldn't attract too much disdain from the girl. Or hoped, atleast. "Divination." she replied, a hint of challenge in her voice.

"Yeah, Demonology is really interesting. I'm taking a course on that this year, just for fun. I've always had some sort of talent at reading the future and things of the sort, so I guess that's why I chose it." she said, shrugging.

"I guess." Once again, she shrugged, having not thought too much about the subject, or how cool it was. It was what she was good at, what she had always done. Standing in the silence that follower her comment, Lexi looked around the room.
It was large, with few scattered people reading, or rushing to do homework before their next class began. Lexi bit back a laugh; she was one of those people. She then turned her gaze back to Piper. "So, how old are you anyway?"

"The same, actually." Lexi commented, looking slightly confused now. "It's a wonder we haven't been in any of the same classes, but I guess that's just because we're in different majors."
