Brandon shrugged. "Believe whatever you want," he said. "But I'm your firend, and I don't want you to get hurt. Killy's a big thinker, is all."

Ian laughed roughly and looked at Brandon. "Had any interesting postulation with Killy yourself?"

"Nah," he said, shaking his head. "She appears to have a nice brain, but she jsut doesn't appeal to me." He shrugged.

"Really doesn't follow the same philosphies as you?" Ian asked him, curious as to why as he implied that Killy appealed to so many.

"not to me personally, no," he said. "but she's appealed to many others. I've always been a bit...odd."

Ian nodded. "A nontraditional thinker." He shrugged, having long lost where this train of meaning began. ""You prefer more random sentiments?"

"Not really," Brandon said, unsure how to phrase it. "I prefer many kinds of thinkers. Only a small number of those are based on ther person's brain, which many people base Killy on. Her brain just doesn't appeal to me."

Ian shook his head. "Why not? She's got a lovely . . .mind . . . or so it would seem," he said, quickly paling for a moment before it evened out with a blush and looked normal.

"ahh...." Brandon said grinning. "So am I correct in assuming that you have seen her mind, seeing her intelluctaly stimulated?"

Ian chose his words carefully. "I have seen her mind sparked by something, yes." There was no lie there; Ian didn't need to comment on his own failure to think much of anything at that time.

Brandon noticed a slight change of tone in Ian's voice. "Something tells me that that experience wasn't a fairytale," he remarked.

"Not particularly. I tried to tell her . . . I think my mind was just tired or something . . . I wasn't in the mood conversation . . . but apparently she thinks I'm not intellectual enough as a matter of habit." He shrugged again, looking off someplace.

"You know," Brandon said, looking around to see if anyone was listening. "I have a friend who could hook you up with some pills to fix that problem. It'll make Killy go wild."

"Yeah?" Ian said, a little interested. "Well . . . do you think she'd listen? She seemed frustrated with how often I claimed it'd be different. She probably think it was just the same old thing."

"You don't have to tell her," Brandon reasoned. "When you're alone, SHOW her. If you use the pills, I'm sure she'll be impressed."
