Jonas sat alone in the library, glad for the silence. He had a stack of books before him, ready to dig into the past.

Lexi bounded into the library, a look of horror plastered to her face. Demonology was in ten minutes, and she had a 2-foot essay to write. Looking frantic, she flung herself at the nearest table and began scribbling whatever came to mind.

Jonas looked up from the interuption. The girl looked awfully familiar, from his house maybe. He strained to see what she was writting. "Demonology?" He asked.

Lexi nodded, not looking up from her parchment, which was wrinkled and splattered with ink as she rushed to finish. "Yeah, I've got class in ten minutes, and I completely forgot about the essay." she said in a hurried whisper, in case the librarian was around.

Jonas nodded. "I've had it last period." He opened on of the books before him.

"Well, that's just great for you, isn't it?" Lexi snapped, the stress getting to the better of her. She added the last sentence, then pushed her hair back with her hand, reading over what she had written. It was only a foot and a half, and she was sure that she had simply made up atleast half of it, but it was better than nothing.

After reading over the parchment again, realizing that it was the best she could do under the conditions, Lexi looked over at the boy, guilt setting in. He hadn't done anything to her, and she had been so rude. "Sorry about that. I'm not usually that bad, I swear."
