Ian and Charlotte arrived at the western beach to find it cool and lightly sunny. The sun hadn't quite managed to drive away the last shadows left by night's departure behind the western rocks and dunes. Ingirxton was visible across the water, and in the gentle warmth of day, fish would periodically leap from the water, flashing in silver arcs before dipping back under the clear green swells.

Charlotte followed him down, the sun slowly beating down. There was a calm breeze blowing, it reflected on her face. "Beautiful right?" she commented as she looked out across the ocean. The only sounds were the sea gulls in the sky and the sea gracefully washing up along the shore.

"Oh, yeah," Ian breathed, remembering for once he meant to be in a social situation and trying not to get lost in the artistry of the clouds across the sky or the sun on the water he turned to her. No more sandcastles he told himself. "I'm out here all of the time. If they held class on the beach I might go a lot more . . ."

Charlotte nodded up to him, "Yeah, that'd be too amazing, working out at the beach," she paused, "Even if I got sand in my books, or got distracted, I'd still love it," she stated, turning her gaze back to the ocean.

"Two very good reasons why they wouldn't consider it. Although . . . you're majoring in Curses, Hexes and Dark Rituals . . . have you had the class where you take the trip to the cave yet?" Ian asked. He hadn't; he'd been to the cave though knew better but it'd be interesting too for it to be with a knowledgable guide.

Charlotte shook her head in disappoinment, "Not as yet, unfortunately, you?" she questioned, expecting him to yes, as he had known about it.

"Not yet." Ian looked to his right, though the cave wasn't visible from all the way on the western beach. He shrugged and sat on a rock, untying his shoes and pulling them off. "What do you do aside from class?"

She watched him for a moment. Then frowned, what did she do? "U-Uhm, study..?" she replied, we she actually didn't do, but it was some sort of passing of time. Most of the time she was on her own, she didn't have any friends, as such, to be with, or anything like that.
