Charlotte found herself walking into the Broken Wand. As it was the Weekend, the live music was booming. Charlotte as usual felt out of place, so looked it. For some reason she found herself shaking a little. She spotted a free table and almost sprinted over to it. She felt as though all eyes were on her, and yet of course they weren't.

Elliot walked into the Broken Wand it was her kind of place, live music and lively, she walked over to the bar and ordered herself a drink, before turning around and looking round the place.

Lexi danced into the small pub, having heard the loud music from outside. And literally, danced. Ignoring the people who had turned in their seats to stare at her, she continued her dance, then spotted Charlotte, looking immensely out of place. They had met only once before, and she had seemed shy, so Lexi wondered vaguely why she would be in a place like this on a weekend.
Shrugging, she made her way over to her and smiled. "Hey Charlotte. Mind if I take a seat?"

The door re-opened many a time, but Charlotte kept her head down and low. She then eventually heard her name, she slowly raised her head, it was Lexi. She managed to nod slightly up towards her, moving over in her seat.

Lexi slid into the seat across from her, sitting down, her feet still tapping to the loud beat that surrounded them. She spotted a girl, sitting alone at the bar, and she waved, an invitation for her to join them. No one liked to be alone in a place like this, and, well, the more the merrier.
"Charlotte, why are you in a place like this?" she asked bluntly, tilting her head slightly in question. "You seem very... out of place."

Elliot not knowing annoy one decided it was best to keep to herself and stand at the bar.

Charlotte frowned at the question. Yes why was she here? "U-Uhm," she shook her head, "Lost," she suggested. She felt uncomfortable at the situation, and slumped a little in her chair. The music was still booming, which was distracting her a little.

Lexi looked back over to the new girl, who hadn't joined them yet. Frowning and shrugging, she returned her gaze to Charlotte. "Lost, hm? Well, we could get out of here if you want. Or, I'll buy you a drink to help you loosen up?" she suggested.

Charlotte mentally shook herself. She had to stay, show she could do it. "I'll have a drink please..." she replied, as confidently as she could, which wasn't excellent but was good for her, in the circumstances anyway.

Lexi nodded, standing up and pulling a few coins from her pocket. "What would you like? Butterbeer? Fire whiskey? Gillywater?" she asked, brushing her hair out of her eyes as she looked expectantly at the girl.

Charlotte placed her hands on the table, "Erm, Butterbeer," she asked, in a quiet tone.

Lexi nodded and went over to the bar, ordering a butterbeer for Charlotte, and a firewhiskey for herself.
After a few moments, she received the drinks. Placing the coins on the bar to pay for the drinks, she returned to the table and passed Charlotte her drink, then slid back into her seat wordlessly.

Charlotte watched Lexi return from the bar, and place her drink on the table, "Thanks," she said weakly. She looked around nervously, feeling like she was being watched, which she obviously wasn't.

Lexi smiled encouragingly at her, then took a sip of her drink, closing her eyes as she burning liquid slid down her throat. Tears pricked the back of her eyes; no matter how many times she drank this, she never got used to it.
"So, Charlotte, what've you been up to?" she asked casually, blinking quickly to clear her vision again.

Charlotte took occasional sips of her drink. She listened to Lexi's words, "Mmm, nothing much really, just this and that, class..." she told her, "You?" she asked. Seeming to be getting used to being here now, she calmed down a bit, settling into her chair.
