"Classes and such, the same, really. And then, in my spare time, I've been mostly in the library, researching past Quidditch teams, new moves, things of that nature for our first practice. You play Quidditch too, right?" she asked, leaning back so that her chair was balanced on only two legs, obviously at ease with the atmosphere.

Charlotte nodded at the fact, "True, seeker," she replied simply, looking directly at her now. "And you? Hope we're not up against each other, y'know, seeker to seeker," she stated.

Lexi shook her head. "No, I'm Captain and a chaser. Our seeker is Jonas Harper... but, now that I think about it, I haven't seen him in a while..." She trailed off, shrugging, knowing that Charlotte wouldn't care much about who has been missing from her Quidditch team.

Charlotte nodded in response, "Oh I'm sorry," she muttered, "We haven't had a practise as of yet, I don't think...?" she told her, hoping she hadn't missed one.

"Don't worry about it, we haven't either." she assured her, shrugging. "The first match hasn't even been scheduled yet, and I can never seem to find a day when everyone is around. I'm sure your team hasn't been too worried about it either."

Charlotte let out a small sigh of relief, "That's something off my shoulders, thanks.." she replied, in a warm tone. She placed her hands on her laps, looking down at them. The band had stopped for a bit, preparing for their next song.

"D'you really think your team would just happen to forget their seeker when they schedule a practice?" Lexi asked, laughing softly, though quickly stopping, as she didn't want to make it seem like she was laughing at the girl. Simply the idea that a Captain would forget to tell their seeker something so important as practice.

"Ah I guess you're right, no need for me to panic.." she replied, a little more confident. she was speaking sense, it would be a little useless, to have a practise without their seeker.

She nodded, grateful that she had not found offense in her laughter, and instead drew confidence from it. "Exactly. As there's only one of you, you'd need to be there, usually every practice. Nothing to worry about."

Charlotte nodded once again, "Thanks," she replied. Lexi, seemed so friendly, kind and approachable, what more could you ask in a friend?

Lexi just smiled in response, then looked down at the smoking mug in her hand. All of the firewhiskey had been drained, and yet, steam was still issuing from it. Hardly daring to remember that the liquid that caused such smoke was in her body now, she glanced back up at Charlotte. "D'you want another drink?" she offered, already starting to fish the money from her pocket.

Charlotte looked down at her mug, it seemed that somehow, she had managed to drink it all, "Erm yes please," she replied. She felt a little guilty, having Lexi, buy both, she decided to offer for the next round.

Lexi nodded and stood, walking swiftly over to the counter and placing the money on it, receiving a butterbeer for Charlotte, and a firewhiskey for herself. Despite her reluctance to admit that she was afraid of putting such burning liquid in her body, she couldn't help buying it; it was an addiction, of sorts.
She made her way back over to the table, sliding the butterbeer to Charlotte and resuming place in her seat. "So, how're your classes going?" she asked, taking a sip of her drink.

Charlotte caught the drink as it slid across, quickly sipping at it. "Classes? Hmm, okay. However i don't seem to get on with the Curses, Hexes and Dark Rituals professor, my major, as I was late for the lesson," she stated, "You?" she asked.

"Oh, I was there for that lesson, I think!" she said, grinning. "I'm in practically all the classes... it's bad. But mine are alright, I suppose. A bit long, but I'm learning loads."
