Charlotte strolled into the Great Hall, scanning around quickly. She walked over to her usual spot, on the Kinrick table obviously, and sat herself down. Barely anyone was in there really, just a few other students dotted about, no one she really knew. Charlotte looked along the table for something to eat, nothing really appealed to her, so she simply grabbed a goblet and filled it with some sort of juice substance, and began to sip at it slowly.

"Tomato juice is disgusting," Ian said disdainfully as he passed her. He sat across from her, a bagel in his hand, and poured a glass of grapefruit juice instead, sipping at it with satisfaction. "Or so I firmly believe. You're the quiet Kinrick, right?" he added, remembering her from Zack.

Charlotte's eyes shot up after hearing another voice. "Oh, right, that's what it is, couldn't make it out through all the lumps..." she replied, placing it back down on the table. Listening to his second words, "U-Uhm, Charlotte..?" she reminded. Was that her reputation? Most probably, that's what she was, the quiet Kinrick.

"Right right!" Ian said, and pulled off a bit of his bagel, chewing it dry and leaning forward slightly across the table. He washed back the dry bit with a swig of the juice and swallowed loudly. "And you remember me of course . . . . they say I've been acting a bit odd lately but I think I'm still recognizable."

Charlotte smiled warmly up at him, "Yes of course, I mean I haven't exactly seen you a lot, therefore wouldn't notice a change, you seem the same to me," she pointed out, "Same Ian to me.." she replied, "It is Ian right?" she added.

"Monday through Friday and most weekends, yes, its Ian," he replied, and took one half of his bagel and began tossing it up into the air and catching it.

Charlotte couldn't help but laugh, feeling her cheeks reddening, she hid behind her hair. She managed to peek through loooking for his reaction. She knew she'd think her weird to be embarassed about such a small thing.

Ian looked over at her and still managed to catch the bagel on its next descent. "It's such a gorgeous day out; I'm thinking about skipping class." Being a more collegiate environment, there was no disciplanary punishment for older students skipping class, but the academic penalties could be harsh. "Doesn't that sound like fun? Going outside and enjoying the weather rather than dragging yourself up to that dreary alchemy lab?"

Charlotte listented intently, "Yes of course, the rooms will also be stuffy, my worse nightmare," she stated, "I'd much rather go to the beach, go paddling, class just seems liek such a drag," she replied, sighing at the thought of class.

"We should skip!" Ian declared, rising from the table dramatically and holding the bagel over his head like some sort of call to arms. "No class! Screw the missed marks, we'll be fine!"

Charlotte jumped at his sudden movement, "U-Uhm," she mumbled. The marks? Could she take the chance? Of course she could, live a little. She stood up also, "Yes! I don't see why not!" she exclaimed.

"Fantastic!" Ian said. "I figure we wander down to the Western beach for a while, then head into town and have lunch in Ingrixton . . . it's pretty different during the day, quiet and classy and you might see the occasional Muggle tourist-and that's worth the amusement. I don't know, I just want to do something different." He grinned at her. "Not that I'm particularly good at going to class . . . but it's nice to have company when I decide to fuck around."

Charlotte listened intently to his plan, "Ah see you've been simply waiting for this day," she laughed slightly, "Yes, sounds perfect," she commented, giving him the look, of 'lead the way'. It was strange that even though they had only just re-met, they were already planning a day out.

"Done with breakfast?" he asked impatiently, looking down at her expectantly. He wasn't sitting back down; he continued to play with the bagel, now sending it back and forth between his hands.

Realising that she hadn't actually had anything to eat, she thought for a moment. She deicded on having nothing, "Yes, I ate before you came," she replied, "So are we off?" she asked.
