Lexi laughed and couldn't help rolling her eyes, shrugging. "It's not for everyone. It's not for most people. But I like it, and I'm good at it, so it's good enough for me."
She studied him for a few moments, taking in his facial features, posture, and overall demeanor. "Potions major?" she asked, deciding that that's what he looked like.

Alex smiled. "Yeah.I guess it shows on your skin and body after a while huh? Being cooped in a dungeon so your pale...then working with ingrediants that makes your skin have a sliverish glow to it..." He shugged, "I'm used to it, but sometimes I go extremely blind in the sun." he said laughing.

Alex raised widened his eyes in feigned shock, "Don't tell anyone ok? Next thing I know I'll have a stake driven in my heart." he said hitting his chest over his heart with an imaginary stake and rocking backwards.

Lexi grinned, deciding to play along with this little game of theirs. "I don't know..." she said, trailing off as she studied him. "I might have to tell someone... I mean, after all, vampires are very dangerous, especially in school... can't have someone getting hurt..."

"Well, then you'll be my first victim." he said smiling evily and showing his teeth. "If you dont keep my secret, then you'll take it to the grave." Alex tried not to laugh and pretended make a move to bite her.

Lexi burst out laughing, holding up her hands innocently as she took a step back from him, pretending to be afraid. "Alright, alright, you win. Your secret's safe with me.... for now."

He glared at her, 'It better be, I would hate to kill someone so nice smelling and pretty." Alex said smiling. "But once word gets out... I'll know who did it." He said wagging his finger at her.

Lexi laughed, still pretending to be afraid of him. "But what if word gets out rather quickly? Would you have to kill everyone who knows, or just me?" she asked, feigning innocence as she smiled at him.

Alex pondered that for a moment, "Nope I wouldnt go through all that trouble, I'd let them kill me...then you'll live in guilt knowing you killed an innocent vampire with your blabbing mouth." he said grinning.

"An innocent vampire? Is that even possible?" she asked, smirking, pretending to be deep in thought about it. "But no, I wouldn't let them kill you. You're too cute to be dead, and I wouldn't want to be responsable for that."

Alex nodded and smiled, "Exactly. I'm too cu- Cute? Aww man, now I'm going to go down in history as the cute vampire...great, my ancestors will disown me." He said hanging his head, then he just started bursting out laughing, 'Alright, the jig is up, I'm just a regualr guy...no vampirism in me at all." he said grinning.

Lexi pretended to be both shocked and upset at this news. "What, you lied to me? And I was just starting to trust vampirism, too. Damn." she said, then grinned and shook her head. "Kidding, of course. I knew you were a regular guy... Though, I must say, talking to a vampire would have been pretty cool."

Alex nodded, "I knew you were faking you shock!" he said grinning. "Yeah, it would be pretty cool, but if he were to have any taste in females he would have turned you in a second flat." he said shrugging as if she was told that everyday.

She smiled at him, though didn't blush, as it wasn't her tendency to do so. "Thanks, that's so sweet." she said, tucking a few loose strands of hair behind her ears. "I'd probably not want to be a vampire anyway, though. Drinking blood is kind of gross."
