Drunken college story #1: I've met two guys who I'm really attracted to here, but I got trashed two nights ago and ended up hooking up with this third guy, who is also kind of in the same circle of friends. And the third guy went and told the first two at dinner what happened, and now neither of the two will talk to me. Great. >.<

Aww...That sucks, Bri. It's my third week at a different college and I've pretty much abandoned the idea of making any new friends. I'm far too much of an introvert to muster up the courage to talk to new people apparently; although, I made plenty of friends at a community college it doesn't look like it's going to happen at Uni.
I do love the new change in environment and the more narrower, younger demographic found at Uni. Now, I don't consider myself to be particularly shallow, but damn! All the hot people really went to University. Whereas at my former community college (which was sorta ghetto btw) consisted of parents of various ages, pregnant women, smokers, really creepy goth people or all of the above. If any of you have ever seen the NBC show 'Community'--- you all know what I'm talking about. That show captured my former community college spot-on in terms of the diversity of people that can be found there. At a university, I find that I can concentrate better on my school work, which is awesome! And when I am taking a break, I'm oogling at all the good-lookin' eye candy. (Friday- I did homework in the Uni's library by all the glass windows and what do I see? A group of shirtless, athletic guys running around playing frisbee! Hubba, hubba! ^_-)
Yeah, Aidan and a bunch of other folks did a great job at raising awareness of this site. Too bad we all don't really have time to upkeep it anymore. :-\
It's great that some of us are checking on here and filling in on each other's juicy lives or lackthereof. It's like a role-playing reunion every now and then. I love it!
And Candy--- hang in there with Calc. A lot of people have been in the same situation and most of them survived it. You're a brilliant girl, going to a brilliant school, which I'm sure has a lot resources for you to rely on should you get stuck in rut, so use those resources and don't procrastinate! You'll be fine! Remind yourself why you're going for engineering! Also, keep those Calc skills fresh in your mind during breaks from school because you should be taking Calc-based Physics at some point for your major. -_-;;

UPDATE: The guy I hooked up with is now dating one of the two guys that I liked. And I just found out that the those two had a threesome with the other guy I like.

Candy-- Ewwww!! Both at the same time?!? You've really lost it!!! Kidding. Nah- I know someone who went through the same thing when he did running start and he's your age, so it's not completely impossible to take those classes simultaneously if that's any consolation. Now he taking an Electrical Engineering class, Calc 3, and a computer programming class at UW. His motivation for majoring in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering: The money. -_-...
I actually have started talking to two new peeps. Only 2.. Go me!! I'll get to expand to more people eventually. I'm currently staying close to home and attending EWU. I take the public bus to and from school. It takes an hour to get to school on a direct bus that goes straight from my hometown to EWU and anywhere from an hour to an hour and a half on two different busses depending on which bus routes I wanna take and what time I get off on certain days. It's a bit of a nasty business, but I save quite a bit of money living with my parents than living on-campus.

Mostlikely will fail the first, but the other 2 should be fine so ehh whatever. Thank you! School was awesome! I was done on Thursday and my finals were really spread apart far. Yeah, I started rping when I was 16 I think... Or 15? Lol... but yeah, the big 2-1...is somewhat wasted on me now that I will NEVER drink alcohol... Ever... I apparently don't take it in very well... At all... For my birthday, my friends and I last minute decided to go to Sushi Maru, where I had my first legal drink, a tequila sunrise... The asshole bartender there realized it was my first stop there for my 21st, and he proceeded to nearly fill the cup with tequila... like 80% of the cup. Didn't even ask me. Just did it. Then the rest was flavoring.. I had to down the drink in 5 minutes cuz that's when the place closed down. And it tasted like shit. LOL. Then I moved on to Fast Eddies where I get to spin this wheel of fortune sorta thing for all b-day peeps to win money of up to $100 and I would be only able to use up to half of my reward money towards my bar tab (which is lame--- it's like wtf happens to rest of the other half of my reward money--- it's just nonexistent then!). Unfortunately, I was really unlucky and it landed on $5, so I only knocked off $2.50 from my bar tab. LOL. I proceeded to have another drink that actually didn't taste too bad, but I was drinking it so fast and well..... I threw up the rest of the night... 7 times actually... 3 times in the toilet of Fast Eddies (in which I had good aim), 2 times on the sidewalk right up against a building, and 2 more times at home where I could barely aim for the toilet and a good amount of it ended up on the floor which I shortly had to clean up after. Oh and before all of you ask how its possible for me to throw up that many times, let me just say that on that day, I ate: 2 bowls of beef stew, 3 slices of buttered white bread, 3 oatmeal raisin cookies, 1 chocolatey cookie covered in powdered sugar with a name that escapes me at the moment, 1 strip of beef jerky, and half of a Fast Eddie's burger. Oh yeah, and of course the drinks. I think the tequila sunrise drink was the worst though. Ended up cursing him all night in my sick stupor. I cried at Fast Eddies, I shivered pretty badly throughout, I murmured words incoherently, I stumbled rather than walked in somewhat of a zigzag, I hiccoughed while cursing sushi maru dude, and I had a hard time getting in and out of the backseats of two-door cars. I hate alcohol.  ... No hangover today though... took a friend's advice of taking a multivitamin before I went to bed. |
