Brandon walked into the Shaman Lab after hours and found, to his delight, test subjects still at large. He was examining his own subject, a baby Blast-Ended Screwt, when he noticed a small, unknown subject scurry behind a cage. Since it had no tag or markings, he knew it was not supossed to be here. He looked in the Monster Book of Monsters and could not find the beast. Next, he looked in Fanstastic Beasts and Where to find them, yet he could not identify the creature. He decided that it was a new species. He grinned in delight.
He examined the creature and found it had a single horn, though it looked as if it had been crumpled, as if it had been in a fight. He quickly made a note of it. As he observed the creature more closely, it eventually fell into a deep slumber. Brandon noticed that the sound it made in its sleep was very prominent, a mix between a snore, and a loud KACK noise.
He finally dubbed this animal the "Crumple-Horned Snorkack"

Roxy entered the lab shortly after Brandon, seeing him near the back, curious of his late night experiments. Creeping up behind him, she noticed numerous books on beasts scattered over the table and realized the reason; in the cage he was examining was the most unusual creature she had ever seen. It was no wonder he was looking up what it was. "And what exactly is that supposed to be?" she said, speaking for the first time, from behind his back. ooc: happy now? someone replied.. i'm still a bit rusty though
