While wondering around the fourth floor, Beviria caught a glimpse of the Alchemy workshop. Curious, she went inside. The room was quite big and a little something caught her eye. A goblet. A large silver goblet sitting on top of what she assumed to be the teacher's table.
Bored, she walked up to it and tried to cast a spell to turn it into living creature. [dice=20]
It turned into cat but without a tail.
"Damn it." "I thought i was gonna get it right.."[rand=7772226851263755508109478746961235471923104236605148075426190801]

The Alchemy workshop door was slightly ajar, and not shut with a large padlock on it as usual so Harriet approached it and peeped through the parting to see another girl inside. It wasn't dark nor was it light but she thought she knew they weren't allowed in there without a teacher or at least a consent. It was magic they were dealing with after all and anything could happen when it concerned that.
"Hello? Didn't think this place would be occupied. What were you trying to get right, if you don't mind me asking?" She asked the anonymous girl quietly, pushing the door a littler wider and looking at her the entire time, as if scanning for who she was and if she had seen her before.
Her eyes soon led her to the a cute cat beside her which she decided could be the girl's pet. Only when it turned around, she noticed it had no tail, causing her to tilt her head in confusion, without considering that it was something transformed.

Startled that someone was at the door Beviria looked around to see a beautiful girl with a confused look on her face. As she traced to where the girl is looking, she instantly knew why.
"Oh!" "I'm sorry I didn't notice that you were there." she began. Stroking the little cat on the table, "I was trying to turn the goblet into a cat but as you can see.. I didn't get it right." she said with a sigh.
"I'm Beviria by the way. Beveria Johnson. You are?"

"No, it's fine! I just randomly came into the room without asking so you couldn't have noticed i was there." The new girl, as she registered to be named Beviria, was very polite and appeared to be conscious of some confusing thoughts she had been thinking about. One example being the cat, which she pointed out to have been a goblet to Harriet's amusement. It wouldn't have been nice if the cat's tail had been physically damaged so it was rather relieving to know and she let the confused expression fade away.
"I'm Harriet Channing. Just Harriet would do, Bev." She smiled widely, like a cheshire cat in some ways and spoke as if there was a familiarity she wanted to develop with Beviria, starting with shortforming her name; The straightforwardness, surprised even herself.

The pretty girl's smile was warm like the sun. Beviria could tell that she is quite friendly. "Nice meeting you Harriet." she said stretching a her hand for a shake. "Although you're name is quite long as mine, got any nicknames?" she asked when the cat suddenly jumped on her head which made her fall down the floor.

"Pleasure." Harriet said shortly and reached out to shake Beviria's hand formally, smiling still but being distracted by a chain of thought. She had never considered nicknames for herself though they were most fun to think of and she found it quite difficult to choose.
"I was never given a nickname but i want one, i just don't know what. Any ideas?" Laughing alittle, she gasped when Beviria fell onto the floor with the cat and picked the cat off to put it back on the table then help her up. "Well, that's a dangerous goblet."

"oof!" gasped Bev when she almost hit her head on the floor. "yeah.. That's a nasty one." she said almost inaudibly. She was helped by Harriet to get on her feet again. "Thanks." Suddenly remembering where they left off, Beviria nonchalantly suggested while turning the cat back into a goblet, "What about Harhar? Or maybe Har?" Then she looked up and thought it was horrible. "Wait. Not that. It sounds like a laugh." "What do you think?"

"welcome, it's no biggie." She answered cheerily and was rather embarassed for her own slow movement because the fall and the hit was so close. Then when Beviria turned and gave her suggestion, she almost giggled and rubbed her chin thoughtful, in exaggeration.
"It'd sound quite like a laugh, but it's not all bad. It's just a little unusual, though i'd have guessed my name would automatically translate to 'Hari' which, i don't particularly like. . .I don't know if i could ever come up with my own nickname, maybe if we gathered more ideas it'd be easier. Only, do you know many people around here cause i don't really. . .?" She was so caught up that she didn't pay any additional attention the goblet which had returned to its original form, but that was because she was slightly concieted.

"I met a few people already although..." her thoughts and voice trailing away remembering the awkward situation she got into yesterday. "well..." she said as if not knowing what she said, like she usually does, "i guess 'Hari' doesn't suit you quite well.. judging by how you look..."
"You know what? Let's just save the 'nickname problem' for later," Bev suggested, thinking it might cause trouble like what happened yesterday since she wasn't paying attention to the person she was talking to. "Could you help me with this goblet problem?" she asked Harriet hoping that with her help, Bev could practice Alchemy and get the goblet-to-a-cat right. Although she thinks that Harriet's mind was wandering off somewhere.
