"Zack. Don't joke with me..." But, another low growl came from behind them, and, wincing, she turned around and came face-to-face with the giant dog. She cursed under her breath, and managed to grin shakily at the dog. "Hey Fluffy... you're a good doggie, aren't you?" she asked, her voice trembling, and she backed up against a wall, her wand held uselessly at her side.

Zack luahed lightly. The dog loked as if it good be rabid but then, they were on magical grounds. Zack found himself against the wall as well. Hitting a certain stone by accident, sending both him and Lexi into a hidden room, leaving the beast behind them.

The wall having disappeared from behind her, Lexi fell to the ground, her breathing heavy. Either from fright or exhaustion, she felt as if she couldn't get up, so she didn't try to. Instead, she just closed her eyes, trying to calm herself down. "Well, that was officially the stupidest thing I've ever done." she said, and grinned despite herself, pushing herself up into a seated position.

Zack laughed and lay where he was. "Hideous animal. Shall we go back? I think I'd like him for a dorm pet. Ian would find him interesting enough."

"Interesting up until the point when he rips your head off in your sleep." Lexi explained, laughing and shaking her head slightly. Now that they were no longer in the face of danger, the whole thing seemed too funny for words. What were the chances that they'd come across a giant, three-headed dog in a small cave? Only with her luck, she decided, and laughed again.
Mustering her strength, she stood up and walked slowly over to the solid rock in front of them. She tapped on it quickly, then turned to Zack, sighing slightly. "I don't think we could get out this way, anyway. Try it yourself. It's sealed."

Zack sighed and looked about him. There was only one way to go, and that was forward. He stood slowly and faced Lexi for a moment. "Well, guess all we can do is venture on."

The idea of the unknown proved more frightening than facing Fluffy again, Lexi thought grimly, but they didn't have any other choice. It was sealed. They had to keep moving, or risk being stuck in the cave forever. She nodded once, then, before she could think twice about it, began walking.

Zack followed next to Lexi "At least there is light in this part." He put out his wand, his eyes taking in their surroundings.

"Yeah. Light. But I don't really think the darkness is the worst of our problems." She was taking a pessimistic view, she knew, but what else was she to do? She didn't want to be on the adventure in the first place, and now, she was trapped. She sighed to herself and gripped the handle of her wand tightly, looking all around her.

Zack glanced over at her. "Would you put that thing away and quit b*tching." He smiled at her. "You're alone in a cave with the sexiest male of Wolfsbane, who could ask for more?"

Lexi twirled her wand in her fingers, just to spite him, then turned to face him. Her eyebrow was arched slightly, and the other hand was in her pocket. "Think highly of yourself, do you?" she asked, grinning back and rolling her eyes.

Zack shrugged. "Look at me doll. Light brown hair, Blue eyes, athlectic body and I'm a wolfsbane. Who wouldnt think highly of tthemsleves if they were me?"

"And an inflated, hollow head to match." Lexi teased, laughing and leaning against the cave wall, one leg bent so that her heel was leaning against the wall as well. She swiped her dark hair from in front of her deep green eyes, then shook her head a bit. "Well, if no one else compliments you, you might as well compliment yourself, right?"

"Tell me about it." Lexi muttered, shrugging. "It's what I do. Read, study... I'm taking about a million classes, and all have decided that they want to kill me, so I've been loaded down with work. Trust me, I'm surprised I've seen sunlight in weeks." She grinned weakly, used to her workload by now, but knew that most people thought her crazy for it.
