Lexi wandered along the small isle, running her fingers along the outer walls. It was rough and cold, and her eyes were stinging from the continuous splashes of salt water, but she didn't care. She continued circling the cave, frowning as she reached the entrance. She hadn't had the courage to return there, after what had happened with Brandon last time.

Zack sat a little further into the cave. Not far from the entrance. He had made his way there earlieer, bored and a bit hungover. A mystery hung above this cave that attracted Zack to it mutiple times. He had heard stories that should have kept him away, but he wouldn't be Zack if that were the case. An outline of a figure suddenly blocked what little sunlight came from the cave's opening. He sat straight suddenly, preparing himself for worst when he noticed it was a femine figure. He relaxed istantly and his cool and collected personality took hold. "lost doll?" He asked, with a slight smirk on his face, not quite able to make out who it was. Did it matter? It was a girl.

Lexi turned at the sound of a voice behind her, her hair whipping at her face, hitting her in her already stinging eyes. She winced slightly, but as her vision cleared, she noticed Zack. They had met at a party, once before... or, she thought so, anyway. She was sure she had been drunk, and wasn't even sure that Zack was his name. But, she found it didn't matter much. "Lost? No, actually. I've been in there before." Her eyebrow was arched slightly, and she inclined her head towards the opening. "Just debating whether or not to go in there again. Zack, is it?"

Zack regonized the voice instantly before his glossy eyes made out her attractive face. They had met twice before. "Must you ask me that everytime love?" He chuckled lightly. "Yes, it is. And...You can come in if you'd like. I don't bite." He wore faded blue jeans that sagged slightly on him when he stood and he went, naturally, without a shirt on. His hair was growing and his bangs hung in his face.

Oh, wait. They had met in the bar once before too, hadn't they? And then had gone to the pitch... A small grin haunted the corners of her lips; with all of the studying she had been doing as of late, she had been forgetting everything happening in her social life, including her friends. "Sorry." she said, rubbing at her bare arm in slightly embarrasment, then took a cautious step into the cave. Darkness met her eyes, but she continued walking, finally settling down on a large, flat stone. It was cold and slightly damp, probably soaking the bottom of her jeans, but she ignored it and pulled her knees to her. Her bangs hid one eye from view as she looked over at him. "So, Zack, now that I'm sure it's your name, how've you been?"

Zack sat, leaning against the wall of the cave, one knee up, the other spread across the ground. He pulled his wand out of his jean pocket "Lumos" The light filled their surrounding area. He smiled. She looked more beautiful everytime they met. "better now. I've got a terriable headache however." He smiled. He was attracted to Lexi. More than he liked to be attracted to a girl. The attraction seemed mutal but he could never be too sure with girls in Knockwood. He caught himself staring and quickly cleared his thort. "And yourself doll?"

Lexi subconsciously pulled at the bottom of her shirt as she caught his gaze, a look of amused skepticism in her eyes. He had been staring at her, she had noticed, but didn't know why. She hadn't caught her appearance in a mirror yet... She had been attacked with school work lately, so she was sure she wasn't looking her best. Atleast she had remembered to comb her hair... hadn't she? She began smoothing out the top of her hair, then returned her hand to her knees, giving up. What did it matter, anyway? "I'm good. Well, I've been studying non-stop for days... weeks, maybe. I don't even know what day it is anymore." She let out a small laugh, wrapping her arms around her knees loosely.

Zack smiled and suppressed a chuckle as Lexi began to fidgit. Perhaps he shouldnt have been staring. "Studying? I cant sem to get into my classes." He laughed as he thought about the last time he entered a classroom.

"That's because you're always drunk." Lexi pointed out, her smile growing fractionally wider as she rolled her eyes at the obvious truth. She absently stretched her legs in front of her, as the position had started to grow uncomfortable, then placed her hands on the rock on either side of her. "Everyone knows it, too. If you stopped drinking, you'd stop failing. Well, with you, maybe you'd fail either way." She sent him a small wink, then glanced around the cave.

Zack chuckled. "I'm not drunk at the moment." He said truthfully. "And besides, Me and acholol? It's like destiny." he laughed. He caught her looking around. "Scared of somthing?"

"Because you have a headache. Hungover, maybe?" Lexi suggested, her eyes still scanning the walls. Last time... last time she had been there, she had come across both snakes and dementors, and had ended up being possessed at an ancient house. Scared was an understatement, but she was determined not to let it show. "No... I just don't like it here, much. Bad memories."

Zack shrugged. "Could be." His eyes followed hers around the cave. W"ould you like to sit outside?" He suggested.

Sit outside? She had finally mustered up the courage to enter the cave, and he suggested they sit outside? Definately not. "No, it's alright. I'm not scared." she said stubbornly, letting her gaze rest on him, instead of continuing to scan the cave. Nothing could possibly attack her this close to the entrance. With this reassuring thought, she relaxed and smiled at him.

He smiled and his eyes lit up with a thought. He had never ventured further through the cave, should they now? "Care to explore then?" He asked.

Lexi's eyes traveled to the depths of the cave; everything outside the circle of light cast by Zack's wand was pitch black, mysterious and forbidding. But, she was an Everard... she wasn't going to back down now, not here with Zack. She stood-- the water from the rock she had been seated on had soaked through her jeans, but she took no notice-- and nodded to him. "Yeah, sure." she said, much more bravely than she felt. "Let's go, then."
