"Spanish is like many other tounges,"she told him matter-of-factly,"Except for English,"she said laughing a little. Carmina let her hand brush gently against his arm, almost as if on accident,"I think that we could learn a lot from each other,"she said sweetly.

"I'm sure we could have lots to learn about each other. I can't speak Spanish so i wouldn't be familiar with it but it does sound quite related with other languages. Just not English...See, i'm learning something already? kind of?" He felt his smile turn into a grin as she laughed then said with a sweet voice that made her matter of fact statement so much easier to the ears, sensing the brush and having a very distant tingle run through him but making no mention of it as he continued to lead her around.

Carmina pointed to a group of big purple flowers,"What are those called?"she said her green eyes widening,"They are beautifull!" She let her arm slip from Tyler's as she walked towards the purple flowers and smelled one, closing her eyes and smiling as she did.

"Those are Morning Glories, one of the prettiest purple and bluish flowers in here but there are also lavendars, tulips, all sorts around really." Shrugging, he hung a hand on the edge of his pocket by a finger and watched her run so excitedly and admire the flowers. As if she was enchanted by all the colour, scents and growth; he watched disbelievingly but slowly understanding her appreciation, walking up behind her.

Carmina stood up, the wind making her skirt billow all around her, and her hair whip around her face. She looked up towards the sky, taking a deep breath then turning towards Tyler,"You are teaching me very much,"she said teasingly, but being completely honest. She took his hand and tugged on it like a child,"Which is your favorite? Show me,"Carmina demanded.

Her dark hair was flowing around and he had to dodge once to move out of the way but wanted to laugh for his action, brushing the flying strands away before he found a better idea and took the flower from her hand to put it behind her ear, tucking the strands back and out of the way. "Very much? I wouldn't be so sure about that yet..." Trailing off, he didn't finish his sentence and looked around as if in a sudden frantic search because he had know idea what flower was his favourite in this scented garden. It wasn't like he ever considered flowers, but there was one type that he fancied and yet couldn't remember the name at this point; he thought he'd always keep it in his memory but he was wrong.

Carmina blushed slightly as Tyler put the flower behind her ear, she sensed that it was to tame her long and wild hair; she had thought about cutting it, but in her culture it was frowned upon. Once Tyler had placed the flower securely in her she looked up at him with her big green eyes and said,"You are teaching me a lot."
As Tyler looked around for his favorite flower, Carmina watched him with a puzzled look on her face.

Thinking he couldn't find the flower, he turned back around to Carmina and saw the puzzled look on her face, forgetting that he had made her blush only a shade of pink, darker to stare at her widened eyes. Just noticing that they were a glossy green and still not quite understanding why she thought he was teaching her alot when he was doing absolutely nothing. "I don't think i can find it right now...maybe we can just walk around without searching. You might find a flower you like, or do you already have a favourite type in mind?"

Carmina shrugged,"No, I don't think that I do have a favorite flower," again she extended a bent arm to intertwine with his so they could continue their walk. "Tell me something of yourself,"she asked quite randomly.

"There are many flowers here so you might find one you like to become your favourite, eventually. Something about myself? I could tell so many things but the easiest would be that i am complicated, confusing and at times delirious. I'll just leave out the parts such as procrastination though." Now, he grinned and knew he had just mentioned procrastination anyway because it came like and he could not swallow his words. Taking her arm so it rested on his, he led her to further down the courtyard until he could see the spraying outline of the fountain. "Anything else about yourself? I could tell you more in exchange; it'd be easier for a conversation. I think.."

Carmina was trying very hard to remember what all the words he had just said meant, but he had said them so fast that she wasn't sure she had come up with the the correct meaning. She hoped that he hadn't noticed the confused look on her face; she was hiding it well,"Something about myself..."she said slowly,"I grew up in Mexico city, in a city along the ocean called La Paz, in enlgish it means 'the peace'. I my culture, people are very supersticious, they believe in evil; for example, when a black cat walks by they will try to kill it, because along with it they will kill the bad luck that the cat might have brought." Carmina paused tears filling her eyes,"When my parents found out that I was a witch, they banned me from my home, and I have not spoken to them since."

"They..." This time, he trailed off for more than mere seconds in a futile attempt to scour for a change in the subject or just anything that distracted her from the memory because her eyes were glazed over with water now. As far as she had been hiding the confusion, it went well since he hadn't noticed any change, thinking she had understood every word he said because she was able to follow up and introduce herself. Deciding there was nothing that couldn't turn back to the point about her being a witch, he had to twist his mind back to imagine a place like La Paz. "If it means 'peace' then it must be special, and what's Mexico city like? Though, you...mustn't like the remembrance of your past, do you? we could always talk about something else but the things you've told me are interesting, really."

"Before I knew about this magical world,"she began,"I believed there was evil there. They say Mexico is haunted, full of evil things. You can feel it, when you walk throught the villiage at night..."she shuddered remembering how eeire the city was at night. "You never feel like your alone there; you always feel like someone or something is watching you...."Carmina trailed off.

"Watching you? Some how reminds me of stalking and stalkers, even if it's just an eerie feeling. In some ways there is evil but just can't define it enough to do anything extreme, some random thought of mine anyway." He shrugged and dismissed her shudder, a picture of a dark village flooding his mind immediately. "But when did you get to know about this magical world? It must have been a great surprise?"

"When I turned sixteen, and it was a great surprise. Only at first I tried to ignore what I was because that is what my father wanted." She stopped, she hated the fact that she always had to bring up her family when she talked about things. She walked over to a bed of flowers and smelled them, they were bright orange and yellow;beautiful.
