Laughing, he pushed his fringe out of his eyes and shook his head trying to calm himself. "Hell no, there's nothing wrong with your face at all. I never thought i'd hear anyone like you say that though. And i'm curious about many things but you can just ask or tell me anything really." Watching her now, he opened his mouth to speak again but paused while she dressed again.
"I talk to many people, nearly everyone if it's possible and i like handling their problems but it can be too much when i'm helpless to do anything more than i had." Admitting, he flipped a sea shell and skipped it so it darted multiple times across the surface of the water before it was engulfed by a wave. "Do you talk to your friends the same way as you do with me? Obviously, you'd know them better and all but you say you're a quiet person and prefer to listen."
The sarcasm couldn't sound more glamorous with the thought; it was clear it would be a field day for sight seeing, but he didn't like pointing it out on his part. He prided himself in being different from normal guys whenever he could help it, and honestly wished he didn't have to deal with some girls. She was a friendly exception though. "It could get better but it depends on the guy doesn't it? But hey, it'll make them play the game so...and girls would win since volleyballs would be hitting our heads everytime we looked at something else."

Madeline laughed at his last remark , "Your really funny." , she said as she brought her hand to her mouth as she giggled.
Tyler was different from other guys , she could tell and she could defenitly feel it. No quetions asked. It would not be hard or much time before she will be able to say things to Tyler , that she would not tell anyone else. She could trust him , but she was not about to throw all her problems on him. Besides the fact that she did not really have any to begin with , she decided he could just be a close friend.
She zoned out for a few minutes , deep in her thoughts as her feet imprinted footprints onto the sand. As a wave crashed near her , the sand turned mushy.
"Actually , no I don't , I can be more lively , but I guess I'm just really quiesce." , she said.

"I could be funnier, always a possibility on that one. But it's true though! I can almost imagine getting hit so i'm not going to let myself. I'll just 'snicker' in the background and i call dibs that ref won't pay much attention to the ball either."
Grinning cheekily, he watched as she giggled with her hand discreetly covering her lips and moved so he was cross-legged.
Mushy sand was making him sink slightly to form a shape of him or any part of him, whenever the waves dragged out the little broken pieces of shell so he put both his hands on the wet sand and waited for temporary imprints of his fingers to appear. Random thoughts flowing through his mind and being absorbed by the night's freedom.
"You can be anything you want but you prefer to be yourself and whatever you feel like. It's a good thing...just a shame not everyone realises it."

"So I'm guessing we're going to win this game?" , she asked.
Her question was of course only rhetorical , but in some cases she wished the guys would play , she wanted a challenge. Maybe afterward she could try to get one of them to play a little one on one , that is if they're not interested more in her bathing suit rather than the game. She laid back against the cool sand , the waves were soon to be crashing near her as the pulled her deeper into the waters body. As refreshing as it felt she closed her eyes for a few moment letting the setting deepen in her mind.
"But , I'm sure you've taken note to it , as I." , she said.
Madeline knew he was one of not so many who noticed even the little things about her. It was surprising to her , but she was glad that she had someone to share it with. She looked back at Tyler , it was dark outside by she could still see his teal colored eyes. They reflected off her blue green eyes as she looked back at the beaches waves. It was soothing to hear the waves still moving , it left a good feeling.

"If my thoughts are right? I think so...BUT i wouldn't bet yet. Just in case you do have to do the forfeit for a loss you know?" Still grinning, he almost laughed again and winked at her for fun even when the answer wasn't really needed and her question didn't need an answer until the day of the game. It was rhetorical but he couldn't help himself.
He wondered what she was thinking though; what it would be like to be put in prejudicism or the general assumption that girls were distracting and not up to game on some occasions or something. It was a weird thought but he didn't disagree that a challenge would be good to break the barrier. Especially if girls won out of pure skill. Maybe they didn't have to wear bathing suits- to the utter disappointment? These were ideas though; he just hadn't decided to say it or not because he did like winning but it was only fair to welcome the challenge equally.
"yes i have...didn't think i would, but i have." Nodding, he met her eyes for a brief moment and tilted his head to admire the waves in a similar way that she was.

"Its possible that you guys can win , but than again we're the best at distractions." , she said.
Madeline watched as he winked at her , she did not say anything as some sort of reaction , but just went back to watching the waves. There was nothing to look at , it was like hearing with your eyes. She sighed , it had been a long day and she had enjoyed every moment of it. Her thoughts were coming back to her and off , she could not wait till the tournament.
Madeline rolled back on her stomach , her legs were moving back in forth like a little kid watching his/her favorite televising show. Her head rested down on her shoulder as she looked back at Tyler. He seemed to be at peace with the world , his pose looked like it had come out of a magazine , but she remained quiet. Breathing softly.

"Alright, that's true." Agreeing without second thoughts, he didn't expect her to have any reaction to his wink since he just did it for fun and he wouldn't have known how to react to that had he been in her position.
"Bored, Tired, Sleepy or dreamy? It's late you know.." She seemed dazed to him; constantly drifting serenely and never opting to start conversations, though it wasn't something he minded at all. There was nothing else for him to say or ask as he looked at her and took his hands away from the sand, lifting himself up to walk back towards his shoes.

Silence grew between them as she watched him look back at his shoes. Guessing that he was probably going to head back inside , it was getting late , but that was no bother for Madeline. She rested her head against her shoulder , "Maybe sleeping outdoors , isn't a bad idea." , she thought. Her face , now look flushed , but maybe she was just getting to the point where she was bound to crash any second. Her body did not feel tired , she just got the feeling since she had been out here since the break of dawn.
"I would say I still have some energy in me and I am not quite tired." , she said. Tyler looked more tired than she had , but maybe it was because the converation came to a complete stop. 'or so she thought'
"Are you planning on heading back in?" , she asked.

With no idea of her intention to sleep outdoors tonight, he kneeled to pick his shoes up but stopped in mid movement. "You're not quite tired but you do look sleepy or something. And I wasn't planning to go back in yet; although i do think it would work if I wasn't still soaking."
Straightening himself, he left his shoes where they were and went over to his rolled shirt and reached for the hoodie's pocket to pull out a short wand. Tapping himself to dry up, he gave the wand another look as if wanting to do something to it and thought back to when he had wanted it to be transparent.
"Are you sleeping out here?" She looked like she was going to drift away any moment despite her statement and he wondered if that was what she wanted.

"It's really beautiful tonight , and I was guessing maybe I could spend it out here tonight." , she said.
She looked back at the night sky , it was nice and clear and the chance of any form of precipitation would be odd at this moment. Her hands pulled her to a steady upright position as she looked back at Tyler. He had put his shoes back in the place they once laid before and started to dry off his clothes. Her eyes looked back at him as she finished drying and stared back at her. It was odd , but yet somehow not.
"What about you , are you heading back in as well?" , she asked.
It would be a lot easier to change the subject , she had gotten a weird tingling feeling at the last movement. She waited for his answer as she listened to the crashing of the waves against the rugged rocks in silence.

"You could if you wanted to of course, i've never tried camping out on the beaches so i wouldn't know if it was a good or bad choice. But it seems nice." At a loss for more words about her thoughts, he went back to his shoes and dusted his feet before putting them back on since he was dry now. Untying the laces to stretch his trainers, he left them and proceeded towards a surfacing root of a large tree that foreshadowed part of the rock she had been sitting on earlier.
"I would head back now but maybe later; i think it'd be boring if i went back to the dorm and i can't sleep anyway. Is there something on your mind though?" He knew there was no point in asking whether there was something on her mind. It was obvious and blatent that she was always thinking and studying something, but he didn't feel the usual discomfort for asking a question that made him feel stupid regardless of what the other person he was asking would think of it.

Madeline watched as walked closer to her , not so close , but to the point where she did not have to raise her voice. Her heart started to beat faster , it was weird , it had not happened to her before , but for some reason it just did.
"Umm no , why would you think that?" , she asked.
She looked away , she did not have something to 'say' , well than again she did , but how in the world was she going to. It was going to be random and by the time she said whatever was on her mind she would be lost for sure.

"I...believe you're always able to see something or think of something. Watching you admire the scenery and everything in life, here has made me come to ask you that. But i guess i was pretty wrong on that..." Laughing quietly, he stopped and smiled at her with unsurity of his own explanation, hoping she actually understood what he even said since he was usually too complicated for anyone to get. Some of the things he thought or said were like puns too but one meaning always overrode the other of course.
Choosing to sit down again, he picked the spot on the elevated root so he was looking up at her slightly and realised her the volume of her voice had gone down since he was actually talking to her at a good distance now. Maybe he shouldn't have to speak up so much and should just move over and sit next to her. His mind saw no harm in that but he didn't move out of his place yet.

"No , you weren't wrong it's just that...." , her voice soon begin to fade away.
Madeline had no idea what she was getting herself into , maybe she was wrong and the last thing she should do is make a fool out of herself. Her voice soon got carried away by the passing winds as she looked around for anything that could possibly changed the subject. To her luck , nothing absoultley nothing , it was as if the world hated her , or maybe she had no common sense. Her eyes looked back at Tyler , his gaze had not changed it was hard not look away.
"No , your not hard to understand at all , trust me." , she said as she gave him some reassurance.

"It's okay if you can't say it...i don't mind, it's part of getting to know someone anyway." Still smiling, he risked his senses and got up from where he stood to go over to her and sat down next to her without a warning. Toying with innocence and instinct; or was it just simple curiousity? Whatever it was that made him have the notion and idea to do what he did, he didn't care and maintained the newfound ability to gaze at her without faltering. Not exactly clueless to what was going on in her mind but thinking of being quite mistaken and incorrect.
"I trust you. I just hope i'm not too ...odd? Too much of someone who's different can be overwhelming so i was just constantly wondering. I shouldnt have bothered too much with it though, since I trust you."
