"Yes and i should've known even before i said it. I don't even know why i'm saying this." Every sentence he was saying was only getting more blunt and he couldn't even do anything about it. Mindreading and telepathy or another form of connection by mind or heart; even binding in the soul was just a trait divination brought out and she was truly good at it. While she would say nothing and daze of for awhile, he was developing his own opinions about her and everything she said or did.
"You wouldn't like that but i have photographic memory." Chuckling alittle, he raised an eyebrow and tilted his head at her again. Studying her face and considering to imprint her in his mind for a longer period of time so as he could be inspired for artistic reasons. "I think everyone likes it when they look decent in public and it's the same for guys around girls too isn't it? I should admit since you did."

Lexi just laughed, hiding her face childishly in her hands. "Oh no, now you're going to remember me forever as the girl with the messed up hair. What ever will I do?" Her words still held the small trace of sarcasm, and with the slight dramatics, she felt sure that it was obvious that she was just kidding with him. He was interesting in that way; she felt that she could have real conversations with him, or just joke around, and they would still be on the same wavelength.
Pulling her head from her hands slowly, she noticed his gaze. He seemed to be studying her; thinking nothing of it, she decided to study him back. Having no artistic ability herself, she just took the time to evaluate him, in a way. Soon after he spoke, she tore her gaze away from his features overall and looking back in his eyes, a gesture of confidence and comfort around him.
"Yeah, I suppose it is the same with guys. Maybe. I don't know, I've come to think of them as a whole different species. Right up there with monkeys." she teased.

"Nah, i'd remember you as you. And the messy hair really was my doing right? I'd remember that anyway. But surely there are things you could do...i just have to think of something to tell you. Or...you could beg for me to erase that memory." Pursing his mouth briefly to bite back laughing since he was imagining her reaction along with how he'd deal with it, he knew she was being sarcastic but deliberately didn't take the hint. He was sometimes too playful and it could make her mad, but for now, all he saw was joking and fooling around with her so they'd both enjoy themselves like they had mentioned in their philosophies on life.
"Up there with monkeys? At least we're up there though right? But where would girls be? I wonder..." Taking his hands off the railing, he rubbed his chin and folded the other one across his chest as if to demonstrate the complete thinker pose, knowing she could see he was kidding and not bothering to apologise for his love of taunting, which was coming out as she teased. It was his childish side and he couldn't help it now. "Aww... but wait. Why would you still be talking to another species right now? if they were that 'bad'? like monkeys. Surely monkeys like monkeys...So 'same difference'!"

Lexi bit her bottom lip, as if to stop herself from laughing, but soon found that it didn't work. Laughing and rolling her eyes, she looked back at the boy and crossed her arms stubbornly across her chest, with an air of amusement and anticipation haunting her every action. She raised her eyebrows at his earlier comment and couldn't surpress a grin. "Oh yeah? What could I possibly do to erase such a memory from your mind?" she asked innocently, deciding to play along with his little act.
Though part of her knew whatever he decided to ask her to do was likely to be stupid, she anticipated hearing what he had to say. She knew it was going to be childish, like a request young teenage girls used to demand in a game of Truth or Dare. She didn't know why, but she had this feeling that it was likely to be along those lines, and yet, couldn't wait to hear it. Maybe it was the boldness in her, or maybe because she was silently hoping he would request something else, but she turned herself completely to face him, looking interested.

"I know it has to be something that is far more than the messy hair and that's hard to find. But there are things you could do that would replace that image. Preferrably a beautiful one i would think." There were a few ideas in his head but he knew not his right to say or rather, ask because he just wasn't sure. It could be something crazy and fun or something completely satisfying and more serious. All in all, he was craving some inspiration and her face was actually enough but since the hair wasn't to her liking of the memory; something to replace it had to be found and done. Secretly, he was remembering the moment and picturing it in his mind so flashbacks weren't only muddled and in 'black and white'. He would draw her if he knew with what to make it a masterpiece. It wasn't like he could describe her in words and pictures and artistic things were the most suitable to represent everything.
"Should i tell you or should i not?" Too many rhetorical questions were trying to free themselves from him but he let only this one pass and alienate itself amidst his silence while her laughter rang like a bell in the background. "I could ask you what you would like me to remember you like though, couldn't i? That would work better, perhaps."

Lexi tucked a few loose strands of hair idley behind her ears, in futile attempts to fix it. She found it amusing that one action of his, a simple ruffling of her hair, had lead into a conversation that she wasn't sure was going down a path she wished it to, or any path at all, for that matter. Smiling weakly, she shrugged at his last comment, trying to find the right words.
After a few moments of silence, which she hoped had not been uncomfortable for him, she decided that she needed to speak. "I want you to remember me as the best image you've had of me. The best person I can be, but still keeping true to myself. I wish you to see me as how I always am." she decided, not even sure if her response made sense. It had in her mind, but her lips had a way of twisting her words around, so that sometimes the meaning was lost in her words. Hoping it was not the same for this comment, she nodded.
"But yes. You should tell me."

Randomly and for the intuition, he reached out his hand again to her hair and seemingly flattened the mess but only allowed the strands tucked behind her ears to fall away and out of place again. Concentrating, he ran his fingers through flittingly before letting his hand drop back on the railing, not knowing what to do about how to tidy it back to what it had been before the ruffle.
"I figured i will always remember you as the best of you but i'd have to get to know you even more to pick the best image and best moment. You are true to yourself, for all you've told me and helped me with. If i need to see you as how you always are then you will have to feel free to always be yourself when you're with me."
Her statement and will made sense to him but he was still struck with it because there had been no way for him to anticipate all of her requests to come out like that. The silence had meant her thinking and now he knew just how deep their conversations could get if they wished to allow it in that direction.
"Er...I'll tell you that i think this image is fine but maybe one of you when you feel most confident of yourself would work. I have other wonders about you but they don't match with this..."

Lexi felt herself shiver slightly at the unexpected touch, though closed her eyes and bowed her head slightly, allowing him to run his fingers through her hair. He was certainly unlike anyone she had ever met before; most shyed away from deep topics for fear of saying the wrong thing. He, however, seemed to embrace it.
"If you think this image is fine, then it's fine with me too." she sahd honestly, smiling weakly as she looked up towards the sky. The first streaks of red and yellow had been painted across the sky as she sun began its descent; they must have been talking for hours, though it felt like she had only spent minutes, seconds even with the boy. There was just so much to learn.
I have other wonders about you. Lexi allowed the words to fill her mind, struggling to understand exactly what he meant by this comment, but it proved to be impossible. "What are your other wonders about me?" she asked, somewhat more quietly than she had been before, looking curious as she tilted her head slightly.

There weren't that many opportunities to talk about things that he constantly felt for or pondered upon and she was one to open up to so he had rambled for more than hours, which seemed like minutes. Too short was the day for them and he was aware that it may be some time before he saw her or caught her around school alone to talk to, again. She wouldn't know he liked to shine alot too; if ever there was a chance he'd take it to say something or do something regardless of the result or consequences, just in case it played in his favour. The problem was that he didn't know what he was doing half the time he wanted to impress something, someone or even himself; talking to her wasn't for the sake of being impressive though and he was happy for that.
"It'll be a fine image for now but it'll change later, for the better. That perfect image will come but as for now, this one is already." Looking at their shadow along the floor and running up the windowed wall opposite them, he figured it was late but ignored the sunset. In some ways glad because he loved the night; thinking twice because she might not and because she'd have to go to her dorm soon enough.
"I wonder about things you like; things you do; things you want to do? And alot of others. I just can't say them all at once?" Shrugging, he gave her a small cheesy grin and looked at his feet aimlessly, having what he had said echoing in his own ears because there was alot more he was wondering. Only, there were too many queries now and it would lose him.

Lexi smiled, understanding exactly what he meant by his questions. They were, in fact, the exact same ones she had been wondering about him. No matter how long they've talked, he still seemed to be somewhat of a mystery, and though she knew some things about him, in essense, she knew nothing.
"Well, I would sit here and give you my whole life story, but it's not all that interesting, and there were better uses of our time. And besides, it's already getting late." She held her hand out as she gestured to the sky, though the gesture was pointless. He undoubtably noticed the sun sinking slowly towards the ground, and part of her wondered how long they'd stay up here. He, she remembered, liked the darkness, and Lexi, having had a thorough understanding of the stars from her Divination classes, had grown to like the night as well. But, there had to be something more than just their shared liking of the darkness that would keep them there, or one would grow bored and leave. Hoping desperately that that didn't happen, for she did enjoy talking to him, she tore her gaze from the sky to peer at him once more.
"Well, pick the question that's most important to you right now, and I'll answer it in honesty."

"It's getting late but do you have to go now?" That question didn't come out as he planned; almost being uttered because he was afraid their time would come to an end even when that slight fear and paranoia was undoubtedly ridiculous and he tried to bring himself away from it. In some ways, it was making him look forward to the future, or days to come when he'd talk to her again though and that was one thing that kept a faith. He had asked just as she closed her mouth and finished speaking, as if he had been bursting to know when the day ended, knowing he'd likely want to take her back to her dorm at least, when that time came.
"Your life story could be interesting and i was going to ask you to tell me about how you can hear me out and tolerate it. Somehow makes me curious since i can be annoying; i say this matter of factly too. What's most important right now is how do you feel about talking to me like this actually? I know we both already share alot of ideas and regard things from the same point of view but it might help to not end our 'deep exchanging of words'. If i know what you think. Anything really...or even everything."

Lexi laughed softly and gave him a quick peck on the cheek, smiling at him. "I'm not going yet. I love the night time, and if I remember correctly, you do too, right?" It was more of a rhetorical question, as she already knew the answer. Without waiting for a response, she decided to answer his other question.
"Honestly? You intruige me. You're such a nice guy, and I feel really comfortable around you, even though I barely know you. I can act really stupid and childish around you, or speak what's really on my mind, and you don't shy away. You seem to enjoy talking to me to, and that's a bit of a first. I tend to frighten people sometimes, with blunt honesty. But you're different."
She stopped there, deciding not to let him know of the feelings that he stirred within her. Not just yet, when she still wasn't sure if he enjoyed talking to her too much yet. She didn't want to risk making this conversation awkward, as it could very easily turn.
"Does that answer your question?" she asked instead, watching him with slightly expectant eyes.

Nodding slowly and then in a rush, he felt his smile turn into a smirk after she gave him a light kiss on his cheek which should've made him blush but didn't. There wasn't time for him to say anything nor thank her for it; the kiss was like a token to him and for him to which brought delight.
"I'm not that nice but i try to be as much as i can be. People who deserve some care and niceness brought towards them should recieve it no? You know i'd say this... I wouldn't want to make you feel uncomfortable or even make you feel awkward in any way. It's a good start; more like a wonderful beginning. I do enjoy talking to you. I have for awhile now too...but your blunt honesty has proven to be something interesting and helpful. It's all good to me."
Pausing before he started on another rant or rambled even more. He tried to cut down on what he would have said because it was just going to drag her mind around in circles or something. In no time though, her eyes were there to look at him and show clear ending to her answer and when she spoke, he thought he could do nothing but nod; except he managed to continue.
"It answers my question too well. You can ask me things too you know? If you wonder too that is. I'd try to answer them as best as i can too, just like your honesty with me."

Lexi thought it over, crossing her legs tightly in front of her as she thought over her question, absentmindedly going off into a daze. It tended to happen a lot; 'a sign of a true Divination major', some of her friends would joke, and she smiled at the reminder. She knew she was slowly losing touch with reality, so she shook her head to clear her mind.
"Alright, any question... What exactly do you think of me?" It was a question with no real response to it, leaving him open to include, or leave out, any details he saw fit. She liked making people think, and this was one of those questions that would be sure to make his mind reel.
Waiting patiently for the answer, determined not to stare off into space again, she began tracing the bones of her ankle, looking down.

"From what I know of you; I can trust you and I find you extraordinarily kind. More laid back than uptight too, of course and it has been really easy to confide things with you while you are also able to solve other people's problems. You do it whole-heartedly and that's what makes another genuinely rare quality; you don't even mind and your insight for situations and dealing with the most difficult scenarios are better than mine. There are a lot of things i think of you as and I’d say they were all good because I don't see any wrong or fault in you, and that's after a lot of consideration. There's great intelligence paired with a very attractive personality too, which is an advantage, I dare say."
That was just a summary of the thoughts he chose to say but he had only restricted himself to keeping other things like her being pretty or having an out going character, because he thought it'd be better to tell her things that were more meaningful and real. Telling her and complimenting was something he liked doing but it was more to answer her question in all seriousness so she'd realise he wasn't always teasing or joking only.
However, mentioning all those things weren't even close to satisfactory to him and her question kept popping back to him; emphasised with exactly. It did make his mind reel though; whether that was her intention, he'd never find out, but it was all true and only when he started answering her verbally, did things flow without worry.
That question was also more like 'blink, receive response and send respond signal through his brain = taking a long time to pick out a start or end; this he'd never say aloud but she probably knew anyway.
"You've been patient with me too..."
