"I don't get you." Lexi admitted with a laugh as he argued playfully with her. Sure, she knew that it was fun breaking the rules from time to time, but breaking the rules you made up yourself? This was beyond her level of reasoning, so she merely shook her head and smiled.
As he leaned forward, Lexi gasped and leaned backwards, closing her mouth once more. "Alright. I can honestly admit I didn't think you were really going to try." she said, grinning at him.

Alex laughed in response to Lexi's comment. He knew alot of people didn't understand him and the way he thought. He had a completely ddifferent way of doing things, he took the long way around. He smiled back at her.
Alex grinned as she taunted him. "Oh you don't think I wouldn't do it?" He asked with a mischeviuos look in his eye. "If you hadn't backed out like a chicken I would have." he said grinning playfully.

"I'm not a chicken." Lexi defended stubbornly, grinning as she crossed her arms over her chest, a gesture that was meant to look menacing but really just looked goofy. "You wouldn't have done it anyway."
Of course, she didn't really know if he'd do it or not, but she was willing to take the risk. After all, he didn't seem like the type who'd actually bite her tongue... But, the mere idea of it made her laugh, so she shook her head slightly, biting her bottom lip to keep from bursting out with laughter.

"Sure, sure." Alex said rolling his eyes disbelievingly. He grinned and thought for a moment. Well I would bite, but not very hard. I mean I wouuldn't want to hurt her after all. He smiled as he watched her hold her laughfter back.
"Just let it out. Laughter is good for the body, it's healthy to laugh...proven fact." Alex said as he poked her side.

Just to spite him, Lexi only let out a long breath of air as he poked her side, then smiled innocently at him. She was usually the girl who'd refuse to do what people told her and did the opposite, as was the case now. It was a rather annoying habit, even to her, but she often acted before thinking things through carefully.
Again, she stuck her tongue out at Alex, not really believing that he'd make a move to bite her tongue.

Alex shook his head with a laugh, "So rebelious. You do the opposite of what is asked of you." He grinned and watched her carefully. Then the opertune moment. She stuck her tongue out at him. Quickly he leaned forward and took her tongue between his teeth. Lightly of course. He still had a goofy smile on his face, "Tol you I woul oo it." He said as clearly as he could.

Lexi gasped and immediately leaned backwards, pulling away and laughing lightly. "You're so weird." she decided, grinning at him and shaking her head slightly. Of course, she hadn't meant it as an insult, as shown by her smile, and hoped that he wouldn't take it that way. After all, they were all a bit weird, weren't they?
She leaned backwards against the window and closed her eyes, relaxed and comfortable with the sunlight at her back.

Alex grinned deciding to take her comment as a compliment. "I like being weird...it means I'm different and not expected to follow the normal protocol. I like that." He told her closing his eyes and leaning back also. Alex racked his mind for something to say, but he liked the scilence so why break it. He smiled to himself and breathed a silent, but content sigh.

"Good. Because I didn't mean it as an insult." Lexi explained, opening one eye just in time to watch Alex mimick her stance, leaning back against the thick glass and letting the sunlight warm his back. He was quiet, she noticed, but also smiling, so she knew that he didn't find the silence awkward either. So, not willing to break what was comfortable, she simply closed her eyes again and resumed tracing the cracks on the sill.

Alex had his hand laying ont he window sill. He slightly moved it and bumped into Lexi's hand, who was aimlessly trailing the sill. He groped around until he got her whole hand in his. He interlaced his fingers with hers and scooted over closer to her.
Enjoying the scilence, Alex decided it was best not to break it just yet. He played with Lexi's fingers and was thinking about her avidly. He opened his eyes and stared at the ceiling with a smile still set on his face. He glanced over at Lexi tilting his head to one side. He looked over her beautiful features hoping she would not stir so he could imprint a picture of her in his mind.

Lexi continued running her fingers along the sill until she felt a bump, when his hand collided with hers. She opened one eye to smile at him, then felt him reach for her hand. Relaxing again, she smiled to herself and closed her eyes, playing with his fingers as well.
A few moments later, she felt him stare at her, but didn't move, nor open her eyes. After all, she was much too comfortable to move, and it didn't really matter much to her if he was staring. It was probably a good sign, she knew, so she continued thinking in silence, mostly about him.

Alex smiled as he watched her. He reached his free hand up and traced over her face lightly. So lightly infact that it would just seem like a slight and very faint tickling sensation. He traced over her eyes, down her nose, across her cheek bone, then down her jawline. His finger reached her chin and he swallowed, knowing he was about to break his rule. He sighed inwardly as a sign of defeat and turned her head gently towards his and pressed his lips lightly against her. And definitely knowing when they stopped kissing he was going to ask her.

Lexi, having assumed the tickling sensation was something in the air, rather than his touch, was surprised as she felt his hand guide her head towards his. Her eyes shot open, and she was about to remind him of his own rule, when his lips were on hers and she felt herself relax. It was his rule, anyway.
She smiled into his lips and felt a small spark travel up and down her spine, and kissed him back, placing her arms with some level of awkwardness around his neck.

Alex felt her smile, either she was happy about this, or she couldn't wait to joke around, saying how he broke his own rule. Or even both. He honestly didn't care about the rule anymore, once Lexi's arms were placed awkwardly around his neck he shifted quickly and pulled her gently towards him. A hand was still on her chin and the other had made it's way to her waist. He felt his blood ignite and start racingm along with his heart. The back of his neck prickled and he got goosebumps.
He slowly released their lip lock, almost regretably. "This question is so cliche but; Would you be my girlfriend?" He whispered; his breath bouncing against her lips.

Lexi felt him pull away, and she pulled back slightly as well, though not enough to make it seem like she didn't want to be around him. Because, quite obviously, she did.
She shivered slightly as his words were whispered to her, and a sly smile formed its way onto her lips. "I don't know... Do I want to be the girlfriend of a person who breaks his own rules?" she teased, tilting her head slightly, as though deep in thought. After a few moments, though, she smiled and nodded. "Of course. Because, if you hadn't asked after you'd done that, you would never have lived it down. Breaking your own rule, I mean." she explained, her eyes bright as she teased him.
