When he mumbled into her neck about his winning the bet, Lexi couldn't help but laugh. She hadn't been expecting something like that; yes, that he would boast, but she'd expected him to hover over her and tease her about it, as she probably would have done, had she not given in. But, she decided she liked his way better, so she didn't complain.
She paused as he hovered over her, a small smile of her own on her lips, and she took a few moments to try to will her heart to beat normally. It didn't work, so she soon gave up. "You win." she agreed simply, and couldn't help but roll her eyes slightly.
